Dataline Wins BNB Chain AI Hack

Dataline has been named one of 13 winners of the BNB Chain AI Hack for the first quarter of 2025. The cohort was announced by BNB Chain on April 17, 2025. Each winning project received $50,000 in startup funding, along with access to BNB Chain's incubation and growth-to-listing track.

This post explains what the BNB AI Hack program is, what we received, why this matters for our work on BNB Chain, and what we plan to do with the funding.

About the BNB AI Hack

BNB AI Hack is a hackathon and incubation program run by BNB Chain. It selects projects working at the intersection of AI and Web3, then provides funding, technical support, and a structured path from prototype through public launch and exchange listing. The program runs in batches throughout the year. Dataline is part of the Q1 2025 cohort, announced on April 17, 2025.

Selection is competitive. Projects are evaluated on the quality of the product, demonstrated user traction, and the strength of the AI use case in a Web3 context. The 13 projects selected for the Q1 2025 cohort are working across infrastructure, DeFi, agent frameworks, and consumer surfaces.

What we received

The program provides:

• $50,000 in startup funding from BNB Chain.
• Incubation support across product, BD, and engineering, with direct access to BNB Chain ecosystem teams.
• A structured growth-to-listing path that includes guidance on user acquisition, integrations, and an exchange-listing track for the projects that reach the criteria.
• Promotion across BNB Chain channels, including ecosystem highlights and joint coverage by BNB Chain media partners.

The cohort

The 13 winners of the Q1 2025 BNB AI Hack are: BINK AI, Botzilla, Tutorial Agent, Tokrio, Polycruz, WORLD3 Protocol, Sentism AI, iDos Games, Boomie, VitaminAI, Stitch AI, Tearline, and Kudo. The cohort spans agent frameworks, on-chain assistants, consumer entry points, and infrastructure. Several have already moved through additional milestones in the program since the cohort was announced.

Why this matters for our work

BNB Chain is one of the chains Dataline already serves at the largest scale. ChatPilot, our conversational entry point, runs on BNB. A meaningful share of the 19.4 million on-chain transactions that have moved through the Dataline data and execution layer settled on BNB. Recognition from the BNB AI Hack reinforces a relationship that already runs in production.

The funding is also useful in concrete ways. It extends runway for the engineering work behind the data layer, supports continued buildout of FlowAgent and GhostDriver as agent surfaces over the data layer, and gives us room to keep the free tier on the API generous as new users come in.

What we plan to do with it

We plan to direct most of the funding into three areas: deeper venue coverage on BNB and adjacent chains; continued work on the confidence-scoring pipeline that ships on every Dataline response; and broader rollout of the FlowAgent and GhostDriver surfaces that read from the same data layer.

We also plan to participate in the broader BNB Chain ecosystem activity that the program connects winners to, including joint events and ecosystem-wide campaigns that put Dataline in front of more agent builders working in BSC.
