Dataline is a market-data MCP for AI agents. This policy explains what data we handle when you or an AI agent uses Dataline through ChatGPT, MCP-compatible clients, or dataline.xyz.
What we collect
Dataline is a read-only market-data service. We do not require accounts, wallets, or personal information to serve queries. When a query comes in, we log: the query itself (e.g. get_price BTC), timestamp, response size, and the originating IP address for rate-limiting and abuse prevention. We do not link IPs to identities.
What we do not collect
No wallet addresses, no trades placed, no keys, no browsing history, no personal profiles.
How we use it
Logs are used only to serve the request, prevent abuse, and improve reliability of the data feeds. We do not sell or share query logs with third parties.
Third-party data sources
Dataline aggregates public market data from OKX, Binance, Hyperliquid, Coinbase, Polymarket, and Kalshi. We route your query to these venues and return the response. Their privacy policies govern data they collect independently.
Retention
Query logs are retained for 30 days, then deleted.
Security
All requests use TLS 1.2+. Logs are stored encrypted at rest.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
EU and California users can request access to or deletion of any data we hold. Since we do not collect personal identifiers, most requests resolve as "no data on file." Email contact@dataline.xyz.
Children
Dataline is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
Material changes are announced on dataline.xyz and dated at the top of this page.
