Dataline has been accepted into the Google for Startups Cloud Program. The announcement was published on August 28, 2025. The program supports Web3 infrastructure companies with cloud credits, access to AI infrastructure, and technical support from Google Cloud's blockchain ecosystem partners.
This post explains what the program includes, why we chose Google Cloud, what changes for our infrastructure, and what we plan to do next.
Why we chose Google Cloud
Running a live data layer for AI agents has two infrastructure requirements that tend to pull in different directions. The data side needs low-latency, multi-region ingest from many venues, with redundancy. The agent side needs AI-optimized inference for the routing, normalization, and confidence-scoring stages of our pipeline. Most clouds are stronger on one side than the other. Google Cloud is competitive on both.
The other reason we picked Google Cloud is its existing Web3 product surface. Over the past two years, Google Cloud has built node infrastructure, indexing primitives, and BigQuery-native chain datasets. Their existing partner list (Solana, Aptos, Near, Base, Polygon) overlaps closely with the chains Dataline already covers and the chains we are prioritizing next. That overlap matters in practice for the engineering work ahead of us.
What the program includes
The program provides:
- Up to $200,000 in Google Cloud credits, valid over two years.
- Access to AI-optimized infrastructure, including TPU and GPU instances.
- Early access to new Google Cloud Web3 products before general availability, including node services, blockchain indexing primitives, and BigQuery chain datasets.
- Internal Web3 training resources from Google Cloud.
- Direct technical support from the Solana, Aptos, Near, Base, and Polygon ecosystem teams that Google Cloud partners with.
- Access to a private Discord channel and invitations to Google Cloud's Web3 conferences.
What changes for our infrastructure
Three changes follow from the program.
The largest is more room on the free tier. Cloud credits give us margin to keep the 500-call free tier in place as the user base grows, without needing to raise the floor on paid tiers.
We also expect faster model serving on the inference stages of our pipeline. Moving the model-serving slice onto AI-optimized infrastructure should reduce tail latency on heavy queries, particularly cross-venue aggregation and the joins between on-chain state and news or social sources. Median latency on those queries was already acceptable; tail latency is the part users tend to notice when it goes bad.
Finally, chain coverage moves faster. Direct technical support from Solana, Aptos, Near, Base, and Polygon ecosystem teams reduces the engineering effort required to add each chain. Solana and Aptos both move up our roadmap as a result.
What we walked in with
The Google for Startups Cloud Program selects on traction. The numbers we shared during the application:
- 2.5 million user interactions through ChatPilot, the conversational entry point on our data layer.
- 450,000 tasks completed by GhostDriver, our browser-native agent, at a 96.4 percent success rate.
- Top 2 AI dapp on BNB Chain by user count.
- 19.4 million on-chain transactions routed across BNB Chain, Sui, and TON.
Each number is load on the same data layer the program is helping us scale.
What we plan to do next
Our first priority is deeper Solana, Aptos, and Near coverage, using the ecosystem support the program provides.
We also plan joint events with Google Cloud, where we will demonstrate Dataline running on Cloud infrastructure at Google Cloud's Web3 conferences.
For the rest of the year, we will continue extending the data layer with additional venues, faster confidence scoring, and broader chain reach.
If you are building an AI agent that needs live, confidence-scored Web3 data across markets, chains, prediction markets, and Web2 sources, you can try Dataline at /data, or wire up the MCP server at /mcp.
